The Independent is a UTSA student newspaper created by the group Student News Media. It launched on September 25, 2006 and publishes on Mondays throughout the fall and spring semester.
The "office" is at Desk #43 in the Student Activities Office. Student Activities is located in the University Center next to the TicketMaster kiosk.
